Stake for unique bactericidal ozone properties exterminating bacteria and viruses was made in the international medicine long time ago. Ozone fills total volume of a room and provides disinfection processing in hard-to-get places for traditional methods.

In medical institutions ozonization is applied for disinfection and deodorization of patients’ wards, dressing and treatment wards, patient’ s examination rooms and other premises, as well as of patients’ and medical staff’s clothes. Test reports

At processing of restricted rooms ozone produces bactericidal effect on aurococcus, agents of cholera, typhus, dysentery, plague. Ozone decomposition and removal is actively carried out from the first minutes simultaneously with ozonizer operation, subsequently propagation rate reduces.

Therefore at processing of premises of volume up to 150 m3 and ozone concentration of 0,5–2,0 mg/m3, daily MPC of ozone (0,03 mg/m3) is reached in 10–40 minutes of ozonization and stays stable over a period of 2 hours. Bactericidal effect of 5–7 minutes ozonization is equal to bactericidal effect of one hour quartz irradiation!!!

Replacement of bactericidal lamps into ozonizers is also justified economically, as the latter are supposed to be more reliable, disposable devices convenient in operation, characterized by a wide range of application, long service life, absence of harmful influence on environment and not requiring expensive recycling after the service expiry.

All-Russia Research and Development Institute of Dezinfectology of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation issued a certificate ¹ 0039–98/21 on state registration of ozone in concentration of 2–4 mg/m3, as a disinfective agent.
